About San Diego Holistic Wellness

San Diego Holistic Wellness was created to support people in reducing stress, improving movement, and restoring balance through a holistic approach to health.

The practice integrates energy healing, integrated health coaching, and wellness education to help individuals better understand the connections between stress, lifestyle, movement, and overall wellbeing.

Sessions are designed to provide a calm, supportive environment where clients can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and begin creating sustainable improvements in their health.

Through this work, the goal is simple: help people feel better, move better, and live with greater balance.

Meet Jenny

My journey into holistic health began with my own search for healing.

Over the years, I experienced a number of health challenges including fibromyalgia, HPA axis dysfunction, hypothyroidism, anxiety, depression, and now the transition of perimenopause. Like many people navigating ongoing health struggles, I spent years trying to understand what was happening in my body and searching for ways to truly feel better.

That experience changed the way I think about health.

It taught me that our wellbeing is rarely just about one thing. Our health is influenced by how we move, how we eat, how we sleep, how we manage stress, and how supported we feel in our lives. This realization led me down a path of studying a more holistic approach to wellness — one that looks at the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms.

My interest in holistic health actually began in the early 2000s as I started exploring ways to support my own wellbeing. At the same time, I was working in emergency medicine. From 2004 to 2025, I worked as a paramedic in both Illinois and California. Those years shaped me deeply. I witnessed both the fragility and resilience of the human body and learned the importance of compassion, calm presence, and caring for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Over time, my desire to understand health more deeply led me to continue my education in wellness and human performance. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics from Illinois State University and became a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).

Today I am a CHEK Level II Practitioner and currently in my third year of advanced training through the CHEK Institute, focusing on integrated health coaching, corrective exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle support.

In addition, I am a Reiki Practitioner Level II, Chakradance Instructor, and a NASM Stretching and Flexibility Coach, and I maintain CPR and First Aid certification.

Through San Diego Holistic Wellness and Salty Sun Studio, my goal is to create spaces where people feel supported in caring for their health. Whether through private sessions, coaching, energy healing, or wellness classes, I want people to feel safe slowing down, reconnecting with their bodies, and exploring new ways to support their wellbeing.

My own journey continues to teach me that healing is rarely a straight line. But with the right support, education, and compassion for ourselves along the way, meaningful change is possible.

And it is an honor for me to support others on that path.

A Holistic Approach to Health

True wellness involves more than just exercise or occasional self-care. Our health is shaped by many factors including movement, nutrition, stress, sleep, and the rhythms of everyday life.

My approach focuses on supporting the whole person rather than addressing one symptom at a time. By looking at lifestyle, movement patterns, stress levels, and daily habits, it becomes possible to better understand what the body needs to restore balance.

Through integrated health coaching, energy healing, and wellness classes, I aim to help people reconnect with their bodies and develop practical habits that support long-term wellbeing.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating small, sustainable changes that help you feel better, move better, and experience greater balance in your life.
